The principles of a Velum is to protect places from the sun while perserving at the same time the feeling of summer.
My interpretation of this was to chose fluids, FEMININ, ORGANIC forms but also pleasant to look at.
Inspirated from the wave form, the overlook of this structure cover large space without being heavy while being under it.
Everything is thought, a place to rest, a place to eat, and a large space for kids to play.
While being really lighful and pleasant, this Velum is also designed to keep the heat if it is necessary during a cold season. It could also improve the acoustic of the original space.
